Begin with a Clean Canvas.

Hello Beautiful,
I wanted to talk to you about your business card. The one you show the world without exchanging anything but an expression. Yes beautiful ones, I am talking about your Face. Do you put makeup on without cleaning your skin? Are you wearing makeup to cover up blemishes and bumps? Are you covering up your skin with makeup instead of enhancing it due to "bad" skin syndrome?

Come into my facial clinic, yes this is a FREE consultation beautiful. We need to talk...

  • Proper skincare is very important in achieving a beautiful makeup look. Start by cleansing, toning & moisturizing your skin. This allows a nice canvas to apply your makeup. You’ll feel better about yourself too…it’s all about loving our skin.

  • Cleansing the skin is on the top of my list for proper skincare. If you don’t keep the skin clear of makeup & free radicals (pollution/debris) you can’t have a smooth looking complexion. Be sure to wash with a cleanser (not soap) in the morning and evening.
  • For dry skin I recommend the hydrating cream cleanser w/olive oil, for normal to mature skin we love the age defying milky cleanser and for combination/oily/acne prone skin the foaming facial cleanser or pore clarifying cleanser gets deep down.
  •  Before bedtime it is important to remove your makeup from the day and clear skin of debris even if you did not wear makeup. In the morning we cleanse away the residue from the night cream or just natural oil & perspiration while sleeping.

  • The 2nd most important step in your skincare regimen is exfoliation and personally I feel is one of the secrets to a beautiful complexion. Proper exfoliation removes dead skin cells allowing your skin to breathe & absorb products better giving you a radiant complexion. My clients swear by the cucumber redefining facial scrub it’s one of the best selling products.

  • A moisturizer is a daytime product. It sometimes has sunscreen & serves as a surface protectent for your skin from pollution. Just like our clothes protects the skin on our body, moisturizer protects the epidermis. It also gives a nice slip so you can easily apply foundation sort of like a primer. For normal skin the all day moisture lotion w/ copper  is great and for oily/combination skin the oil free moisturizer w/ ginseng gives just the right moisture without clogging the pores.
  • N2Cosmetics from left to right, All day moisture lotion w/copper, oil free moisturizer w/ ginseng and nighttime renewal cream w/ retinol.

A night cream is a night time product and meant to nourish the skin and penetrate. Your skin cells rejuvenate & turn over at night so moisture must be replaced while you are sleeping. I recommend the nighttime renewal cream w/ retinol by N2 Cosmetics. So use a night cream and dream about how beautiful and hydrated your skin will look in the morning.

  • Acne…The prime cause of pimples & blackheads is normally not the make-up but the cleansing routine. You must be very thorough when removing make-up at the end of the day if you’re prone to acne. Try not to ever go to sleep without cleansing your face. Deep cleansing your face will prevent your pores from becoming clogged which enables bacteria to grow. A great product is the deep pore cleansing system which has the acne control sulfur masque, it eliminates current blemishes and acne and prevents new breakouts from happening with proper maintenance.

  • Daily beauty care is not sufficient enough to cleansing the epidermis from impurities that produce a dull complexion. The skin has to be deeply cleansed, preferably by a professional esthetician/facialist. You can get a consultation on your true skin type and a great customized cleansing for your face which should include a facial masque. This will allow you to maintain that glow on a regular basis at home.
